We break down the components of our services into four logical steps. Depending on your needs, some or all of these service components may be deemed appropriate to solve your online reputation challenges.
(1) PROFESSIONAL ANALYSIS - We must first analyze how existing visible information affects your brand or it’s reputation. Your search engine space is dynamic and constantly changing as new sites are added to the mix and as search engines alter their algorithms. You need to develop an understanding of your search engine environment and that of your competition.
We undertake an analysis of your search engine space. Look at the sites listed in search results for your industry/niche. List the sites that offer positive information and those that are negative. Determine what types of sites they are - blog, forum, consumer review, etc. Assign a value to their quality – Page Rank, number of links, influence, etc. Determine which results you may want to move up or down the list. This will help you understand the scale of the work involved.
(2) INFLUENCE THE RESULTS - Influence the results from our analysis by participating in the "conversation" and reducing or eliminating negative sites' influence online. Your participation (and/or ours on your behalf) will give you the opportunity to directly improve the perception of your business. We employ many different tactics here, depending on the exact situation at hand they include:
- Do we look to officially respond to negative information at the point of origin
- Do we flood the review site with legitimate positive reviews to bury the negative one(s)?
- Do we launch an official positive reputation campaign using articles, social media sites, press releases, etc?
- Do we establish an internal business review program to increase the number of positive reviews on an ongoing basis?
- Do
we work with legitimate customer complaints through the customer, with a
goal of getting them to retract their original review?
- Do we look to seek legal assistance?
There are just so many options to consider, but the key to success is choosing the right remedy for each situation we face.
(3) MANAGE THE SEARCH ENGINES - The above ideas are all directed at dealing with potential problems and getting as many listings as possible (that we choose) related to your company or brand at the top of the search engine results pages. This is, of course, not an overnight task, but should rather be viewed as a sustained campaign. However, once you begin to see results, you are effectively managing your search engine space. This gives you the control over how people perceive your company or brand. From a public relations viewpoint, this helps develop favorable publicity for your company. From a business viewpoint, it helps give consumers confidence in your company and brand. The end result is an increase in the overall web presence for your company and its products and services.
(4) MONITOR AND TRACK - The final phase is to monitor and track what is being said online about your product, service or brand. You want to know what is being said about your business. You should be aware that ordinary people influence how the general public views your company. It is very easy for anyone to publish information on Consumer Generated Media sites such as blogs, opinion forums, podcasts and social communities. You must monitor these online conversations. However, the size and complexity of the internet, coupled with the speed at which news travels, means that it is difficult to continuously monitor all that is being said. To address this problem, you need an “early warning system” to alert you of news relating to your business, so you may remedy when needed. Depending on the project requirements, services are typically performed over a period of 1 month up to 3 months at a fixed monthly price of $497, with ongoing monitoring and maintenance services available thereafter at $250 per month (monitor, report, and minimize impact of future negative reviews).

Designed for the large corporate business, typically with multiple locations within the U.S. Usually we will work with these companies through all 4 service components, which will establish a long-term reputation management plan. Again, depending on the project requirements, services are typically performed over a period of 3 to 12 months at a fixed monthly price to be determined.
